ネイティブキャンプの講師になりたくて、受験準備中です。
レッスンでの使用テキストをレビューしながら、講師の方から教え方を学んでいます。

記事を読んで頂くことにより、

フィリピンの女性講師です。
講師は普段、学校の教員をされている方です。

‪auxiliary/helping verb (助動詞) の説明で「アクションを伴わない語だけれども未来を表す」ことを、ボディランゲージでうまく伝えてくれました。

日本人以外の生徒もいるそうなので、僕も、「英語」を使用して「英語学習」を伝える手法にも熟練しなくてはなりません。

ネイティブ・キャンプ 講師トライ

僕はネイティブ・キャンプの無料利用を1週間して全世界各地にいるインストラクターが時間を問わずサポートしてくれるシステムを楽しみました。

その際に日本人にも講師がいることを知ったのです。

会社社内でTOEIC受験のインストラクターをした経験のある僕は自分でもネイティブキャンプのシステムを使えばインストラクターができるかもしれないな・・
と思うようになり講師要件をネットでチェックしてみると・・・

①TOEIC®TEST 750点以上
②英検準一級以上
③海外経験1年以上
④英語講師歴1年以上

とあります。

TOEIC885、海外営業員として日本で英語を使って業務をした経験を25年持つので「大丈夫だろうな」と思い、応募。

ところがオンラインでの英語能力試験で不合格になってしまいました。
正解率78%でした。

出題形式はTOEIC-Part5 の4択問題と類似。
ネイティブキャンプ講師の合格ラインである正解率は不明

しかしながら、僕はTOEIC受験生だった頃には90%くらいの正解率がありましたので、再勉強の必要性を痛感しています。

いまは「講師受験生」として毎朝、Part5の練習問題とネイティブキャンプ1レッスン受講をしています。

未来形を学ぶ

“RULE 1: The simple future tense is used to make predictions for the future.”

単純未来形は未来に対する予想を表現する

例：”EXAMPLE: Q: Will the train arrive soon? A: Yes, it will. It’ll arrive in half an hour.”

例：電車はすぐに到着しますか？

“RULE 2: The SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE is formed with WILL + the BASE FORM of the verb. In the affirmative statements the auxiliary/helping verb contracts with the SUBJECT PRONOUNS..”

単純未来は ” Will ” + “the BASE FORM of the verb” (動詞の原形) とする。
affirmative sentenceとは肯定文
auxiliary/helping verbとは助動詞
subject pronounとは主語として用いる代名詞の複数形

“EXAMPLE: I (subject pronoun) + WILL (auxiliary/helping verb) arrive. = I’ll (contraction) arrive.”

I (主語）+WILL(助動詞）arrive(到着する）
I’ll (contractionとは短縮形) arrive

when you long answer, 回答が長いセンテンスには I’ll (contraction)がつかえる

“RULE 3: WILL does not contract with the subject pronoun in short answers.”

when you short answer, 回答が短いセンテンスには I’ll (contraction)はつかわない

“EXAMPLE: Q: Will you be ready soon? Short answer: Yes, I will.”

Yes, I’ll →　このように使用できない

“Long answer: I’ll be ready in a few minutes.”

このような長い回答の際に” I’ll “を使用する

ブルーボックスを講師に続いて読み、短縮形を学ぶ

“RULE: The negative in the simple future tense is formed with NOT after the auxiliary/helping verb WILL. The auxiliary/helping verb WILL often contracts with NOT. The contracted form of WILL + NOT is WON’T.”

単純未来の否定形は “Will not “
短縮形は “won’t” となり、「ウォント」と発音する。
これは、「ウィルント」とはいわない

“EXAMPLE: I won’t (will + not) work.”
