ネイティブキャンプの講師になりたくて、受験準備中です。
レッスンでの使用テキストをレビューしながら、講師の方から教え方を学んでいます。

記事を読んで頂くことにより、

講師 Wendy はフィリピンのセブ島が出身地です。
(女性は” Cebu-wana ” / 男性は” Cebu-wano “と言う事を嬉しそうに話してくれました)

ロックダウンで観光客は減少しているものの、オンラインでのテレフォンアポインターとしてアメリカ企業と契約し、英会話のオンライン講師もこなしています。

今更ながら IT 進化によって労働環境が大きく変わっていることを実感しました。

ネイティブ・キャンプ 講師トライ

僕はネイティブ・キャンプの無料利用を1週間して全世界各地にいるインストラクターが時間を問わずサポートしてくれるシステムを楽しみました。

その際に日本人にも講師がいることを知ったのです。

会社社内でTOEIC受験のインストラクターをした経験のある僕は自分でもネイティブキャンプのシステムを使えばインストラクターができるかもしれないな・・
と思うようになり講師要件をネットでチェックしてみると・・・

①TOEIC®TEST 750点以上
②英検準一級以上
③海外経験1年以上
④英語講師歴1年以上

とあります。

TOEIC885、海外営業員として日本で英語を使って業務をした経験を25年持つので「大丈夫だろうな」と思いますので、応募してみます。

採用テストの出題形式はTOEIC-Part5 の4択問題と類似とのことなので問題集に取り組み中です。

いまは「講師受験生」として毎朝、Part5の練習問題とネイティブキャンプを1レッスン受講をしています。

・レッスンが予約されているのであれば生徒が指定するテキストを先行で予習することができる

Tokyo Olympics Seek COVID-19 Defenses
Yoshiro Mori, president of the Tokyo Olympics, knows there will have to be defenses against COVID-19 for the postponed games to open in 2021. Quarantines for athletes and fewer fans at the venues are among the ideas being considered by authorities.

The Olympics are to open on July 23, 2021. So far, local organizers and the International Olympic Committee have proposed cutting out frills and simplifying while leaving the sports unchanged with 11,000 athletes. In addition, there will be 4,400 Paralympic athletes and thousands of staff members, technical officials, and Olympic committees.

“What we are most worried about now is if we are told to limit people,” Mori said, speaking with Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike. “How do you separate tickets of those who already bought them?” Mori asked. “We have these kinds of problems.”

Koike also met with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who explained the progress on vaccines being developed for COVID-19. Some scientists believe that the Olympics can’t be held safely unless a vaccine is available.

In an interview, Olympic Games operations director Pierre Ducrey was optimistic that the games would be held, but didn’t provide many details. “The future is not clear as to what environment we will have next summer,” he said. “Right now, we cannot go with one plan . . . we need to develop different options.”

Ducrey and IOC President Thomas Bach have both floated the possibility of limited fans, though it’s not their preference. “We all work in this environment to create circumstances where you can have spectators,” Ducrey said. “But when this comes in the way of delivering the event safely, I guess there is not a lot to think about.”

Neither Japanese nor IOC officials have said what the postponement will cost. Estimates in Japan have ranged from $2 billion to $6 billion, with Japanese taxpayers getting most of the bills.
